Congratulations to Christian Varga, DSI’s June Employee of the Month!

Christian is approaching his seventh anniversary with DSI, and throughout that time he has made an impact in several areas of the business. He began his career as a Field Sales Representative (FSR), quickly earned recognition for his performance, became one of DSI’s first Senior FSRs, and now leverages that hands-on experience to support partners in his role as a Partner Account Manager.

“Christian stands out for his strong communication, punctuality, and commitment to completing tasks efficiently,” said Alex Likens, Director of Sales Enablement and Support. “He is always willing to help, keeps the team supported and on track, and consistently delivers with professionalism and a positive attitude.”

That consistency is what makes Christian so deserving of this recognition. He shows up for the business, supports the people around him, and brings professionalism to everything he does.

At this year’s National Sales Meeting, our team came together for something bigger than business.

Through a postcard campaign supporting deployed military members, DSI employees took time to send handwritten messages of encouragement and appreciation to those serving overseas. We’re proud to share that the cards were officially delivered through Operation Gratitude.

As Jesse Garcia, Account Executive, shared, “sending care packages, letters, and words of encouragement reminds our service members that their sacrifices are seen, valued, and appreciated back home.”

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

From all of us at DSI, thank you to the heroes who gave everything for the freedoms we often take for granted.

Great conversations and even better perspective at the AHLA Forward Conference in Atlanta.

Hosted by the American Hotel & Lodging Association, the conference focuses on advancing women in hospitality through leadership development, networking, and meaningful industry conversations.

One takeaway from the event was summarized by Allyson Budreau, Sales & Marketing Manager, who shared that the conference encouraged attendees to "recognize our own influence and use it to support others at all levels.

We’re grateful to have attended alongside DIRECTV and be part of conversations helping move the hospitality industry forward.

Freedom isn’t something we should ever take for granted, and today we recognize the people who help protect it through their service and sacrifice.
