The big day is almost here! 🎉 The first day of school is TOMORROW, Tuesday, August 11! We can’t wait to welcome our Coyotes back for another amazing year! 📚✏️

🌟 FIRST DAY REMINDERS:
🏫 Front doors open at 7:20 AM.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Tomorrow is the ONLY day parents may es**rt their child to their classroom in the morning.
🚗 If you are not walking your child in, the gym will be open beginning at 7:00 AM for drop-off.

Get those backpacks ready, pick out that first-day outfit, and get ready for a great year! We are so excited to see our Coyotes tomorrow! 🐾💚🧡

Pre-K Families: Please enter through the North Porch doors and go directly to the Pre-K classroom to meet Mrs. Feldman and Mrs. Bruno.

Kindergarten Families: Please enter through the gym doors for the event. Students will go on a tour with our Kindergarten teachers, and parents will go to the cafeteria to learn all about Kindergarten.

Hi everyone! My name is Cofield Collins, and I am so excited to be joining the Schell Coyotes family as a Speech Language Pathologist. I was born and raised in Oxford, Mississippi, and I graduated both undergrad and graduate school from Ole Miss! I am looking forward to creating a safe space where students are welcomed, celebrated, encouraged, and supported!

Outside of school I enjoy traveling, trying new coffee shops and restaurants around Dallas, and creating! My newest hobby is needlepointing.

Hello! My name is Ukachi Onyeugbo! and I am excited to be joining the Schell Elementary School family as a Paraprofessional. I graduated from Metropolitan College of New York, and I am passionate about working with students and supporting them as they learn, grow, and build confidence. I believe every child has unique strengths and abilities, and I look forward to creating a positive, caring, and encouraging environment where students feel supported and ready to succeed.

Outside of school, I enjoy cooking, watching movies, and spending quality time with my family. This school year, I am looking forward to getting to know my students, building strong relationships with families and staff, and being part of the Schell Elementary School community. I am excited to work alongside an amazing team to make learning a fun and meaningful experience for every student. I look forward to a wonderful year filled with growth, learning, and new memories!

Hi, my name is Rhodora McMillan and I am the new elevate teacher. I graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and this is my first-year teaching; although, I have always wanted to be a teacher. My husband and I moved to Texas 2 years ago from Guam. We have 2 daughters, one 24 years old and the other 22 years old and 2 shih tzu fur babies.

When not working, I enjoy spending time with friends, barbequing and sitting around the firepit. And I love to travel! I am looking forward to meeting the kiddos and the rest of the Schell family and being part of the team.

My name is Grace Luevanos! I am going to be a first year teacher at Schell teaching 3rd grade ELA and Social Studies. I just got my bachelor's from Louisiana Tech University. I am looking forward to learning a lot from others and growing as a teacher this year. I played volleyball in college and I still love to be very active! I love to workout, hang out with my family and friends, and I found a recent passion with cooking and baking.
