We are a charitable, non-profit organization driven by the interests and passions of individuals who believe that serving this Nation’s military members, veterans and their families is a noble and worthy endeavor. Through the application of these core values we will change the prevailing feelings of hopelessness, despair and social disconnectedness into a high impact message of hope, resiliency and recovery. The Invictus Foundation’s Operating Model
The Invictus Foundation's operating model is that of a charitable, not-for-profit Behavioral Health Services Organization (BHSO). We call this business model Regional Nationalizer. We plan to operate in eight (8) regions of the Country. We have broken our business model down into three strategic and tactical phases: (1) a Concept Phase (completed) (2) a Community Resource Leveraging Phase (short-term goal) and (3) a Brick & Mortar Phase (long-term goal)
The Invictus Foundation’s Development Continuum
The Invictus Foundation is now focused on Phase 2 of our strategic and tactical plan; the Community Resource Leveraging component, which is currently providing behavioral health care services across the continuum of evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, ongoing community outreach services, education and training to uniform services personnel, veterans and their families. This is being accomplished through a melded network of community based practitioners and lay persons providing services to our constituency without regard to their ability to pay. We have branded and service marked this network as the Welcome Home Network. Phase 2 is allowing for a more rapid deployment of behavioral health services out to our military, veterans and their families in the Seattle-Tacoma community, the Puget Sound Basin and the State. Phase 3 will consist of the capital construction and operation of the Invictus Centers for Traumatic Brain Injury & Psychological Health and will be a staff model (salaried & onsite providers) point of service delivery model within the community that will provide a continuum of evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, education, training, ongoing community outreach and research. When Phase 3 is completed, we will integrate Phase 2 into Phase 3 and will end up with an integrated delivery model (IDN) of providers (community based and brick & mortar based)) providing services to our constituency through a permeable membrane of outreach activities that will flow out to and in from the community- at- large.
