Fresh, local food is transforming lives across the eastern Sierra. Through a partnership with Nourish Food Hub, the Food Bank of Northern Nevada is helping connect families to vibrant produce, farm-fresh eggs, and grass-fed beef grown right in their region.

Each week, 100 Nourish bags are filled with locally raised foods and delivered through trusted partners like The Salvation Army and HOPE food pantries in Susanville, TEACH in Alturas, and Christmas Cheer in South Lake Tahoe. These bags bring more than nourishment. They bring connection, joy, and dignity to the families who receive them.

This collaboration also supports small farms by creating a stable, local market that allows producers to grow more and plan for the future. Together, we’re building a stronger food system that supports both families and farmers.
