RENO DOES NOT WANT DATA CENTERS!!! Today’s rally at Keystone data center goes to show how unpopular these monstrosities are. They are bad for our water, our land, our air, our health. We are ALL going to submit public comment by tomorrow at 4pm prior to Mondays city council meeting by going to Reno.gov/publiccomment. Tell them we approve agenda item C.1, but we want it tied to substantial rules and regulations after the work has been put in to include experts, indigenous leaders and stakeholders input. This will take much longer than 6 months and should be done right. We also want all rules and regulations to be RETROACTIVE so they apply to the 6 data centers already built in our community. And if you can - please show up in person Monday, June 1st at City Council to have your voices heard and stand with your community against more data centers.

Today, we honor the radical roots of Mother’s Day by remembering that no mother should have to bury her child because of war, occupation, or political greed. And really, all of us - mothers or not - have a responsibility to speak out against the atrocities being committed in our name.
