Redmond FFA Chapter

The Redmond FFA chapter team traveled to the 2026 Central Oregon District Leadership Camp on Tuesday this week. Officer teams from across the Central Oregon District gathered at Camp Morrow in Pine Hollow for a few days of leadership development, teamwork, and chapter planning. Throughout camp, officers participated in workshops focused on what it means to be an effective leader and how they can continue to improve themselves and better serve their FFA chapters.

Redmond FFA also found success in the District Rituals Contest. Our Executive Officer Team placed 4th, while our Greenhand Team earned 1st place. These competitions challenged our officers to demonstrate their knowledge of FFA traditions, ceremonies, and leadership skills.

After returning home, the Redmond FFA officers and selected chapter members continued putting their leadership skills into action by volunteering at the Mallott Tradeshow. Members helped serve dinner while also having the opportunity to network and build connections with politicians and community members alike. It was a great way for our students to represent Redmond FFA and put the leadership skills they learned at camp into practice.
