This week, we’ve shared three incredible Head Start alumni stories—and we’re still feeling so inspired.

From early learning classrooms to high school graduation, college success, and careers that give back, these journeys show what’s possible when we invest in children and families early.

We’ve seen students grow into leaders, families build stability and opportunity, and young adults step forward to strengthen their communities.

💛 This is what Head Start is all about—supporting kids, empowering families, and building a stronger future together.

✨ And it all starts here. 📚 Now enrolling for Fall 2026!

Give your child a strong start in a program that supports learning, growth, and opportunity—for the whole family.

We’re so proud to be part of these journeys across Central Oregon—and we’d love to be part of yours. 💛

💛

🎓💛 Story 3 of 3: From Head Start to serving her community 💛🎓

We’re so proud to share our final Head Start alumni story—this one is truly inspiring.

Meet Aidree Webb—a Head Start alum, Crook County High School graduate, and now a Central Oregon Community College graduate with a Community Health Worker certificate.

Aidree was on the honor roll throughout high school, took AP classes, and even graduated early. During COVID, she stepped up to help her classmates transition to online learning, using her own experience to support others during a challenging time.

Her hard work paid off—earning two grants and two scholarships that fully covered her two years of college. 🙌

While at COCC, Aidree helped create and lead a sexual and reproductive health survey with Deschutes County Public Health. The results uncovered a gap in access to care for students—and led to a mobile health clinic now providing free screenings on campus.

From Head Start to making a real impact in public health, Aidree’s story shows what’s possible when we invest in children and families early.

💛 This is what Head Start is all about—building futures, empowering leaders, and strengthening our communities.

We couldn’t be more proud. Congratulations, Aidree! 🎉
