📦 Happy Materials Management Week! 🎉

This week, we’re celebrating the incredible Materials Management team at Redlands Community Hospital! From keeping essential supplies stocked to making sure our teams have what they need, when they need it, their work helps keep our hospital moving every day.

Thank you for all the behind-the-scenes coordination, hard work, and dedication you bring to RCH. We appreciate everything you do to support our staff and the patients we serve! 💙👏

Before a patient reaches an exam room or receives a treatment plan, someone must help begin the journey. In the Emergency Department, that first connection often belongs to Patient Access.

During her Role Exchange with Miguel Torres-Hernandez, our CNO Joyce Volsch observed a team locating patients, confirming information, responding to clinical needs and supporting people during moments of uncertainty. In the middle of a crowded environment, Miguel's calm, patient and respectful approach stood out.

The exchange identified practical opportunities, including better patient-location tracking, easier access to translation resources and workstations positioned closer to the people being served. But its most important lesson went beyond workflow: registration, communication and reassurance are all part of care.

Every interaction matters because every interaction helps shape how a patient experiences Redlands Community Hospital.

Last week, we had the honor of celebrating the dedication, service, and incredible people who make Redlands Community Hospital so special! 💙

We recognized team members celebrating 5, 10, 15, 20, 25+, 30, 35, 40, and 45 years of service. Each milestone represents years of commitment to our patients, one another, and the community we are proud to serve.

We also celebrated two special honorees: Charito “Charlie” Pasion from Special Procedures/Cardiac Cath Lab, recipient of the Alice Raum Award, and Joe Delgado III, Unit Secretary/Transporter in the Recovery Room, recipient of the Patients First Award! 👏

Congratulations to all of our honorees, and thank you for the many years of heart, dedication, and service you have given to RCH. We are grateful to have you as part of our team! 💙

Our Outpatient, BLOOM perinatal mental health program provides a supportive environment where mothers can feel heard, understood and cared for. Through compassionate support, a safe space to share and resources focused on ongoing maternal wellness, our goal is to help women feel supported through every stage of their journey.
