To end out this month of Silence Speaks, I’m talking about it. And I brought my friend Chance Scoggins, a business coach, to help me work through it.

For a long time, I’ve stayed quiet about my weight, and about what it’s felt like to be judged for how I look before anyone gave me the chance to show who I actually am. That’s weight discrimination, and I’ve lived it more than I’ve ever said out loud.

This isn’t about pointing fingers. It’s about finally being honest about something I’ve carried for a long time, and I think there’s freedom in saying it plainly instead of tucking it away.

Today in the midst of filming, I received word that Dolly Parton passed away exactly 15 minutes after the crew and myself were just talking about her regarding something different. She was such a bright light to everyone. So in the middle of filming, we recorded this mini tribute to her. We will always love you Dolly! ❤️🙏🏾

God spoke to me in service today that trusting God Isn’t the finish line but it’s the starting point. Trust is what opens your hands enough to actually want to be close to Him again. Once you know He’s faithful — once you’ve seen His face in your own story — you stop just surviving near Him and start longing to be near Him.
