There’s nothing of the eternal that I can produce through my own effort, but everything is available if I yield to Him.
Living from Heaven towards Earth is our assignment. Faith doesn’t deny the existence of a problem, it denies the problem a place of influence. We must stay anchored in who God is and what He has said. Being aware of the fact that we are seated in heavenly places is what gives us access to heavenly wisdom and God’s heart for the problems we face.
What touches you changes you. As God reveals Himself in new ways to you, your capacity to represent Him in that way is opened up and transformed. Jesus is the light of the world, and now calls you the light of the world. And when He invites you to drink from Him, He promises that rivers of living water will flow from you.

Biblical hope has a different meaning than our current cultural meaning for hope. Biblical hope is more than a wish; it is the joyful anticipation of good which comes from our confidence in who God is and what He has promised us. Because of His promises, we are invited to live with an extreme and contagious hope that remains strong in the midst of difficulty. Let’s remind ourselves of His promises to us today: We are chosen and called to a glorious future in Christ, and there is not one thing that could ever separate us from His love and what He accomplished for us on the Cross. What other promises are meditating on today that are filling you with fresh hope?
Healing, like salvation, is a free gift. It cannot be earned. Healing is not based on good works or your faithfulness to God. We pray and believe for healing because it was purchased and paid for by Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross.

I love seeing members the Body of Christ walking fully in their unique gifts and callings. Sarah considered. Hannah contended. Mary surrendered. Every one of us has been designed by the Lord to give birth to something that’s impossible. The power for breakthrough is not in our efforts, but in the word that God speaks. And what we do with what God has spoken is vital.
Adjusting the sail of our heart and the rudder of tongue when facing difficulty actually positions us to advance in hard seasons. Don’t let discouragement or loss take you out. Keep looking to God and trusting Him and He will bring something beautiful out of every season.
