🚨🔥Tacos Las Espadas | OG Tacos
📍 2151 Market St, Redding, CA 96001 | NEW BUSINESS
Tacos Las Espadas opened up quietly on November 1st, and it’s already turning heads downtown. If you haven’t been yet, this place is bringing a style of taco we’ve honestly never had in Redding before — and that alone makes it worth stopping by. 🌮🔥
A little backstory: “Las Espadas” gets its name from the traditional way the meat is cooked — stacked and roasted on a vertical spit, similar to the old sword-style roasting you see in parts of Mexico and South America. It’s slow, it’s flavorful, and it gives the tacos that deep, rich taste people travel for. Now we’ve got it right here at home.
If you remember Pasta Pronto, that building looks and feels totally different now. Instead of pasta, the place is filled with the smell of roasted meat and fresh tortillas. It’s got a whole new energy.
It’s always exciting when a small local spot brings something new to our food scene. If you’re driving through Market Street, swing by and check them out. Give them some Redding love and try the tacos everyone’s starting to talk about.
Big shout-out to Jose Castaneda Flores from People Ready for snapping the photo 🙌
