We had a heavy thunderstorm today, and just (minutes) before I direct sowed fall flowers and cut some stems.

I wanted to take photos tonight, but didn’t count on the power going out… yet despite the darkness I still managed a few nice ones ✨

August is finally here, and it’s my favorite month of the year. The garden is alive 🍅 my annual trip to Wellfleet is almost here, and my birthday is at the tail end which usually includes flip flops, champagne and oysters.

This morning it’s cherry tomatoes that I love to make sauce… and the one and only Cinder Rose dahlia ❤️

I’m always the most relaxed sinking into late summer ✨
