Last month, we wrapped up Week of the Young Child and Child Abuse Prevention Month with our Second Annual State of Early Childhood event! 💙

This special event celebrated the incredible work being done to support children and families throughout Shasta County, and we were honored to recognize several outstanding community partners making a lasting impact:

🏆 Family-Friendly Business of the Year: Rocha's Auto Service

🏆 Family First Policies Award: Redding Rancheria

🏆 Children’s Event & Activity Leadership Award: Shasta Family YMCA

🏆 Early Development Leadership Award: Redding Recreation

🏆 Community Children’s Champion Award: Todd Jones, President & CEO of the Redding Chamber of Commerce

Thank you to these amazing leaders and organizations for helping create a stronger, safer, and more supportive community for children and families in Shasta County. Together, we are building brighter futures for our youngest children. 🌟
