Meet Sarah Prather Ciapponi! 👋 One of the incredible humans who makes up Community Alliance Network.

Sarah is passionate about helping people and making their day a little brighter. 💛 She believes even the smallest gesture can make a difference in someone’s life—and that desire to show up for others is a big part of who she is.

When she’s not helping others with her business Helping Hands by Sarah Senior , her favorite place to be is with her family. She loves spending time with her kids and grandkids and making memories together on family vacations. ❤️

And here’s something you might not know about Sarah…

🤫 She’s actually pretty shy and admits she overthinks things way more than people probably realize.

But the fact we REALLY need to talk about…

🐢 She has a 100+ POUND TORTOISE named Hank who lives in her front yard.

We’re going to need a Hank spotlight next, obviously. 😂

When we asked Sarah what she loves about CAN, she said it’s the connections—the way CAN brings together people from so many different backgrounds and businesses who might not otherwise cross paths.

And, in her words, she “love, love, LOVES” what CAN does to give back to our community. 💛

That heart for helping people is exactly what makes Sarah such a perfect part of CAN.

We’re so glad she’s one of the humans who makes this group what it is.

Stay tuned as we introduce you to more of the amazing humans behind CAN!

Meet Mari McCurdy ! 👋 One of the incredible humans who makes up Community Alliance Network.

At the center of everything Mari does is family and growth. Her family is her core, and so many of her favorite memories have been built around adventure, connection and experiencing life together.

🌊 The lake is #1. Travel is #2.

Her kids grew up on the lake and on boats, and over the years their family has become the hub for SO many fun adventures—from sleepovers on the ski boat to teaching all the kids to wakeboard, surf and eventually drive the boats themselves. 🚤

And travel? It’s a must.

Every year, Mari and her family make it a priority to unplug for one week together AND she and Andy take one week just for themselves. Her ideal getaway?

🌴 Tropical. Waited on. Zero stress. 😂

And here’s something you might not know about Mari…

🤫 She’s bilingual AND an immigrant.

When we asked what she loves about CAN, it came down to the relationships:

“The bond that our group has formed with each other and our families in a way that maybe we would have never had the opportunity. And that turns into what we give back to our community—the love, positivity, encouragement and acceptance.”

That’s one of the best parts of CAN. The relationships we build with each other ripple into our families and ultimately into the community we serve. 💛

We’re so glad Mari is one of the humans who makes CAN what it is.

Meet Abigail! 👋 One of the incredible humans who makes up Community Alliance Network.

Abigail Peterson, owner of Accounting Professionals is passionate about dancing and helping people start their own businesses so they can create more freedom with both their time and money.

When she’s not helping someone build a business, you might find her dancing, snowboarding… or making buttons and calculators on Claude. (We love a hobby that requires a little explanation. 😂)

And here are a few things you probably don’t know about Abigail…

🤫 She regularly forgets to eat until about 3pm.

🐢 She has a turtle named Michelangelo.

🏡 And she bought her first house at just 22 years old and sold it at 26!

When we asked Abigail what she loves about CAN, she said:

“If you give more than you take, the community thrives, and that’s exactly what we do at CAN. We turn fun events into real opportunities to serve, and we have a blast doing it.”

And THAT really sums up what CAN is all about! having fun, building genuine relationships, and using those connections to make a difference in our community. 💛

We’re so glad to have Abigail as one of the humans who makes CAN what it is.

A star among stars!

Meet Taylor Gowen ! 👋 One of the incredible humans who makes up Community Alliance Network. Owner of The Social Event Co.

Family and community are at the heart of what Taylor does. She’s passionate about bringing people together, creating opportunities for local businesses and organizations, and being someone others can count on.

She especially loves supporting kids and helping the next generation find success, happiness and positive outlets through sports. Serving on the Sports Boosters board has been one of her favorite ways to give back.

When she’s not working or volunteering, you might find her making memories with her girls, snowboarding, golfing, boating, shopping, traveling, tackling a house project—or behind the camera taking photos and creating content. 📸

And here’s something you might not know…

🤫 Despite being involved in SO many things, Taylor is actually pretty reserved when she first walks into a room! She’s usually quietly taking everything in before jumping into the conversation.

She also admits she has a pretty hard time saying no when someone needs help… which might explain how she’s ended up involved in so many projects and events over the years. 😂

When we asked Taylor what she loves about being part of CAN, she summed it up beautifully:

“I truly believe a strong community is built when people are willing to show up for each other.”

And Taylor is definitely one of those people who shows up. 💛

We’re grateful to have her as part of CAN and part of a group of people committed to making our community a little better together.

Stay tuned as we introduce you to more of the amazing humans behind CAN!
