Our mission is to promote a local culture that values all children and families. Drop-in services are available Mondays, or call to make an appointment.

Pathways to Hope for children is Shasta County’s CAPCC and serves as an umbrella for a wide range of projects throughout Shasta County that offer community outreach, youth development, family support, and child abuse prevention education (such as child abuse reporting workshops) and awareness activities. Family Resource Center offers case management, parent education, diapers and a clothing closet

Community is at the heart of prevention. 💙

When local businesses, nonprofits, community members, and partners come together, it creates more opportunities for families and youth to feel connected, supported, and seen.

At Raising Shasta, we believe strong communities help build strong families, and we are grateful to be part of a community that continues to show up for one another.

Thank you to the Redding Chamber of Commerce for creating space for local organizations, businesses, and community members to share what they do and stay connected to the work happening throughout Shasta County.

Sometimes families just need someone to help them take the next step. 💛

Our Parent Partners walk alongside parents and caregivers as they navigate resources, goals, challenges, and everyday family needs. Whether it’s finding local support, building a plan, or having someone in your corner, families don’t have to do it alone.

To learn more or request support from a Parent Partner, visit raisingshasta.org or send us a DM with any questions.

Have you heard? We’re now offering Jujitsu classes for teens at our Redding Teen Center inside the PAL Gym.

This class is open to teens ages 13–17 and takes place every Wednesday from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.

Jujitsu is a great opportunity for teens to stay active, learn new skills, build confidence, and try something positive after school.

A form must be completed before joining. Parents can stop by the Redding Teen Center to get their teen signed up.
