Meet Julia Wood, Patient Care Coordinator & Lab Tech at UpState Hearing Instruments!

Julia has quite literally grown up alongside UpState Hearing Instruments as the youngest daughter of Ken Wood, who led the business for more than 30 years. She officially joined the UpState team in the summer of 2024, bringing with her a natural talent for problem-solving and a genuine passion for helping others.

Julia also plays a huge role in holding down our Red Bluff office every week! She helps keep things moving, takes care of our patients, troubleshoots hearing aids, and makes sure our Red Bluff community has someone they can count on.

Outside of work, Julia’s biggest role is being a mom to her three children, who keep her life busy, fun, and full of adventure. She loves spending time outdoors with them, getting creative together, playing a variety of musical instruments, and making memories whenever she can.

We’re so lucky to have Julia as part of the UpState family!

💜 We are so thankful to have been part of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s this past Saturday! It was such a meaningful day, and we’re grateful to everyone who came out and helped make it so special.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, supported the cause, and helped raise awareness. We’re honored to be part of such an incredible event! 💜

Our walk area is mostly set up, and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! We can’t wait to come together for a meaningful morning supporting the fight against Alzheimer’s. 💜

Meet the Team Tuesday!

This week, we’re excited to spotlight Kloie Greenfield, our Lab Manager!

Kloie joined UpState Hearing in August 2024 and has quickly become such a valued member of our team. With a background in pharmacy, she brings compassion and attention to detail to everything she does. Whether she’s helping patients, working behind the scenes, or supporting her teammates, Kloie’s caring personality shines through.

Outside of work, family is everything to Kloie. She loves spending quality time with her husband and daughter, and when she gets a little downtime, she also enjoys reading and crocheting.

And now, their family is getting even sweeter… Kloie is expecting a baby boy!

As she prepares to welcome the newest member of her family, Kloie will soon be taking some well-deserved time away from UpState Hearing. While we are certainly going to miss having her around, we are SO excited for Kloie, her husband, and their daughter as they get ready to become a family of four!
