Community support makes an incredible difference. 🩷

In 2025 alone, One SAFE Place served 1,067 survivors, and their team answered more than 565 after-hours crisis line calls. With approximately 40% of the organization’s funding coming from donors, the generosity of our community is vital to keeping these resources available to those who need them most.

That’s what Dancing with the Shasta Stars is all about. Coming together, having a great time, and raising funds for an organization doing critical work right here in our community.

Every ticket, donation, and show of support helps make an impact. ✨

Sometimes, the smallest comforts can make a meaningful difference during an incredibly difficult moment. 💜

When One SAFE Place advocates meet survivors at the hospital, they bring SMART Bags filled with essentials like a change of clothes, snacks, water, a phone charger, a blanket, and other comforting items.

Each bag is thoughtfully put together to provide a little warmth, dignity, and comfort while survivors navigate an uncertain and challenging time.

This is just one of the many ways One SAFE Place shows up for survivors in our community, and why Dancing with the Shasta Stars is so proud to support their work. 🫶

When someone reaches out in a moment of crisis, there’s a real person on the other end of the line. 📞

One SAFE Place Shasta Crisis Hotline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to anyone who needs support, resources, guidance, or simply help figuring out what to do next.

Their dedicated staff answers these calls day and night, on weekends, and even on holidays, providing support for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and other crimes.

It’s a critical resource for our community and another reason Dancing with the Shasta Stars is proud to raise funds in support of One SAFE Place. 🤝💫
