If you missed today's sermon...a quick recap.

Jesus asks the questions:
- Who do people say the son of man is?
And
- Who do you say I am?

Simon (Peter) answers: You are the Messiah, the son of the living God.

Jesus then tells Peter he is the rock, the foundation, the cornerstone of his Ekklesia, an assembled people, his gathered community, the church...and then gives him the keys to the kingdom - delegates authority and responsibility to lead.

In Peter's writings, he called us, the ekklesia, a holy priesthood of believers, extending this same authority.

So, now we have the keys to the kingdom...what doors are we called to open this week? How can we open more doors and offer more opportunities to share Jesus to those we meet?

What a fun night! We had our inaugural LIFT (Living in Faith Together) international worship... 14 gathered from ages 9 mos. to 71 years! No pictures because we were having too much fun, but the highlights were hotdogs and cookies, giggles and acting out the parable of the sower, a teaching cartoon analogy of the parable, and a retelling through the lens of basketball. We ended with a circle and seeds to plant in good soil. Next LIFT will be Mondsy, September 28th at 6 PM. We hope to see you there!

Coming soon… LIFT - Living in Faith Together
An Intergenerational community worship and fellowship

When: Mondays – Sept. 14th & 28th, 6-7 p.m.

What is LIFT? Lift invites generations to come together to play, pray, learn and break bread together. This is worship, small group, and fellowship all together in one exciting experience. This is for all ages, families with or without children, and all abilities.

A Light meal is provided!

This Sunday, we move on to a new sermon series - join us as we Behold the Face of God - in each of us.
