Originally dedicated in 1999, Simpson's Urban-Trustee Tower has become one of the most recognizable landmarks on campus.

Simpson alumni making a difference!

We love seeing the ways Simpson alumni are serving through the broader Christian and Missionary Alliance family!

In this new video from The Alliance, President Jonathan Schaeffer highlights Taste of Peace, a ministry connected with Cornerstone Christian Fellowship in Hilliard, Ohio, where Dr. Joseph Chon ('84) and Irma Chon ('85) serve.

It's encouraging to see the impact of this ministry, and especially meaningful for the Simpson community to see two of our own alumni helping lead a church that is serving its community and participating in the greater work God is doing through The Alliance.

A new tradition.

For the first time, we're hosting the Great American Northern California Leadership Summit in partnership with The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute. Throughout these three days, each rising high school leader will grow in character, confidence, and leadership through hands-on experiences, meaningful conversations, and collaborative exercises.

It's a privilege to welcome these students to Simpson University as they invest in their future as leaders.

It is with sadness that we share the passing of former Simpson professor Duane Adamson, who taught theology, homiletics, and ministryat Simpson’s San Francisco campus during the 1980s. Many alumni will remember him serving alongside Mr. Claspill and Dr. Schaefer, investing deeply in the lives and ministry preparation of countless students.

If you were one of Professor Adamson’s students, we’d love to invite you to share a favorite memory, lesson, or story in the comments. The influence of faithful professors often extends far beyond the classroom, and we’d be honored to remember him together.

What a wonderful evening in the Bay Area!

This past Saturday, Simpson alumni from several decades gathered in Livermore to reconnect, share stories, enjoy great food, and meet friends both old and new.

One of my favorite parts of these gatherings is watching conversations begin with, "What year did you graduate?" and quickly turn into stories, laughter, and discovering unexpected connections.

A huge thank you to Clifford and Kimberly Adams for graciously opening their home and hosting such a welcoming evening. We're also grateful to everyone who traveled from around the Bay Area to be part of it.

"Gateway to World Service" continues.

As a Simpson alumnus, and someone who graduated from the Cross-Cultural Studies program, I'm genuinely excited to share this news.

This fall, Simpson University is launching a new Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies, available as a major, secondary major, or minor.

While the name is new, the heart behind it will feel familiar to many of our alumni. Simpson has long been committed to preparing graduates to serve Christ in an increasingly interconnected world.

Today that calling is just as important as ever.

Whether our graduates become pastors, teachers, nonprofit leaders, healthcare professionals, business leaders, government employees, or missionaries, nearly every profession now involves working across cultures, communicating with people from different backgrounds, and understanding an increasingly global world.

Global Studies equips students with those skills while continuing Simpson's historic commitment to faith, leadership, and service.

One of the things that makes this program especially exciting is that it isn't only for students pursuing international ministry. A major, or even a minor, in Global Studies can complement degrees in business, communication, psychology, education, theology, and many other fields where cultural intelligence has become an essential leadership skill.

As someone who has had the privilege of teaching courses like Cultural Anthropology and World Religions at Simpson, I'm excited to see this next chapter unfold. The "Gateway to World Service" continues.
