Headwaters Kayak

We took the Mocean Kayaks Ace and Scout out to Whiskeytown for a comparison Demo. We paddled 6 miles total in mostly flat conditions. Both boats are impressive. Fast for their size, stable and responsive. My cusotmer preferred the low deck on the Ace, and I preferred the fit and playfulness of the Scout. The seats on both these kayaks are insanely comfy!

Every day is a demo day around here. Robin added a Swell Scupper to her fleet today, promoting her from a Captain to an Admiral. 😆

Today’s Lesson and Demo was at Keswick reservoir. Seems like I always have the coolest wildlife encounters here.

Today was one of those days where I just had to pause and appreciate how incredibly fortunate I am to do what I do.

We had perfect river conditions and an incredibly eager student. I’m beyond grateful to everyone who puts their trust in me as an instructor and guide—I am having the time of my life out here.
