We’re back. And this time there’s coffee, turtles, and a little financial incentive to support a good cause. ☕️🐢
Jess and I are teaming up again for Turtle Bay’s Caffeinate for a Cause on Thursday, September 24 from 7–9 AM at the Dutch Bros at 1200 Market Street in Redding.
And because apparently asking nicely wasn’t enough…
Donate $25 or more to our fundraiser and you’ll be entered for a chance to win one of TWO $100 Dutch Bros gift cards. 🎉
That’s right. Two winners. $100 in Dutch Bros each. Which is either a responsible amount of coffee money or a concerning amount of coffee money. We’ll let you decide.
Just make sure when you donate that you select Tyler + Jess as your Honorary Barista team.
🏆 Winners announced Friday, September 25
Come see us Thursday morning, grab a drink, support Turtle Bay, and help us do some good in the community.

Meta is doing Meta things again. 👀
If you manage a page, you may have started seeing emails letting you know that people who currently work on your Pages may soon be added to your Meta Business Portfolio automatically.
Translation: now is a very good time to check who still has access to your business.
Before Meta makes the change, we recommend reviewing:
• Who currently has access to your pages
• Who is listed inside your Business Portfolio
• Whether former employees, agencies, or vendors still have permissions
• Whether each person actually has the level of access they need
For some accounts, Meta says these users may be added with basic access after October 14, 2026, so don’t just hit “archive” on that email and forget about it.
Business Suite permissions have never exactly been famous for being simple. If you get one of these notices and aren’t sure what to change—or what not to change—send us a message. We work inside Meta Business Suite every day and are happy to help point you in the right direction.

If your carousel can be understood from slide one, you didn’t make a carousel. You made five posters standing in line.
A strong carousel creates momentum. Each slide answers one question, then creates the next one.
Start with tension. Name the enemy. Bring the proof.
Then give every slide one job. If a sentence doesn’t move the story forward, cut it. Yes, even the sentence you spent 20 minutes making “sound more on-brand.”
Before you post, ask yourself:
Would I actually swipe?
If the answer is “maybe,” the carousel isn’t finished yet.
Save this for your next content day: and share it with the person who keeps adding “just one more slide.”
What usually kills a carousel first: weak hooks, too much text, or slides that repeat each other?
