In Remembrance & Hope: 25 Years Later
Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001. A quarter-century has passed, yet we still pause with heavy hearts to honor the innocent lives lost, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the families whose lives were forever altered on that unforgettable day.
Through 25 years of changing times, God’s presence has remained constant. In moments of tragedy and grief, we are reminded of the fragile nature of life and the unshakeable hope we have in Him.
Scripture reassures us in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
Even in the darkest moments, His light continues to shine through the selfless love of first responders, the strength of grieving families, and the enduring unity of a faithful people.
How We Pray Today:
For Comfort: May the Holy Spirit bring a deep, abiding peace to every family still carrying the weight of loss 25 years later.
For Protection: We lift up our first responders, military personnel, and public servants who courageously answer the call to serve every day.
For Hope & Unity: May God heal our country, strengthen our faith, and renew a spirit of love, compassion, and grace across our nation.
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." — Psalm 46:1
