🙌 We've Opened an Office in Eureka!

We're excited to announce the opening of our new office in Eureka! Pictured here is our incredible Eureka team, led by Amy White, our CalAIM Manager. Justine, our Community Supports Manager, will also be helping train and support our new team as they begin serving the community.

We are grateful for the opportunity to expand our reach and bring hope, compassionate care, and life-changing support to even more individuals and families. We look forward to seeing lives transformed in this new community. ❤️

☕️ Last week, we launched our very first Coffee with a Mission gathering!

We welcomed our shelter guests into the dining hall for free coffee with one simple goal: to create a space where conversations could flourish, relationships could grow, and community could be built.

🌼💕 It was encouraging to see genuine smiles, meaningful conversations, and neighbors connecting with one another over a cup of coffee. Sometimes, hope begins with something as simple as taking the time to sit down and listen.

On August 14th at 6PM, the 2026 Bridge Discipleship Program Graduation takes place at Little Country Church in Redding.

We're so proud of our students, who have done the hard work of moving towards growth and healing, and we want to honor their commitment in one of the most powerful evenings we host all year.

Come and hear first-hand testimony of how the program and the love of Jesus have completely changed these students' lives. Light refreshments follow the ceremony. All are welcome.

Meet Nancy.

Two years in, and she's become part of the rhythm here — serving dinner, helping at our Easter and Christmas events, wrapping gifts in December.

But what stands out about Nancy isn't the tasks. It's how personable she is with our guests — warm, present, genuinely glad to see them.

"I love seeing people smile. It might be the only real, friendly moment they get all day."

Good News Rescue Mission has opened new offices in Eureka, expanding our services to the North Coast community. We're expanding our services to Humboldt County, offering person-centered care, transportation assistance, housing navigation, and connection to treatment and resources — all designed to meet people where they are and walk alongside them through what comes next.

If you or someone you know could benefit from these services, appointments are available by calling (530) 813-3746.

Chapel is a core part of what we do at the Mission.

We believe Christ's message is integral to healing, which is why our doors are open for services most evenings from 6–7 PM and for communion together on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 1:30 PM.
