We are heartbroken to share the news that our sweet momma dog, Twitch, passed away a week ago from birth-related complications. She left us with two, beautiful, girl puppies. At just 4 years old, Twitch was such a good mommy, both to her own pups as well as our boys. She never let Torque get too rough with anyone and she always let us know if we were gone too long according to her own standards. She would greet us after every shower and offer to lick the water on the floor up and her favorite thing of all time was bones to chew. She was a good guard dog as well as cuddler and she will be greatly missed. 💔
We now have two newborns again that get fed around the clock, reminding us of our own newborn days with the boys. We do not miss those days at all. We always said we wouldn’t wish the newborn twins phase on even our enemies. Thankfully, puppies progress much more quicker than humans do, and we will be finding homes for at least one of these little sweeties in the next month. ❤️

Our female Boxer is having puppies this week and we are looking forward to this experience with the boys. It will be such a good learning experience for them. The first one was born this morning and the boys had lots of questions! So, we sat down and discussed it! We talked about washing our hands after we deal with the puppies and how Twitch needs peace and quiet right now to have them. They asked when the puppies would be ready to play with and if Torque would be having his babies soon. 😆 guess they don’t quite understand at 3. 🤪

Can you believe these two fell asleep on the job (aka, delivering meals to families with new babies)!? 😆 In all seriousness though, the values and lessons we instill in our children while they are young are ones we should hope will last them a lifetime. Helping others out by delivering food and meals shows our children how to be compassionate, among other things. Compassion in our world is greatly needed and appreciated.
We were beyond blessed with the meals and food provided to us while I was in the hospital, while the boys were in the NICU, and while we had newborn twins first at home. People we didn’t even know went out of their way to send a meal or gift card. Once we felt steady on our feet again, this was something we promised we would always contribute toward, and we hope that our children will appreciate and participate in this ministry.
Ps, how is it only one more month till these two boys are 3 years old??

Boys first visit to the dentist! We opted for a family dentist; extra perks that Auntie Amanda is their hygienist. They did pretty good for their first time! We talked about it beforehand and even practiced how to open your mouth and smile for the tooth doctors. They each have one more molar to pop through and then we’ll be done with teething!! Hallelujah!!!

Got away into the woods this weekend. Lots of riding and time spent with family. Second trip in a row that we’ve seen a bear crossing our path! Jason and I even got to sneak out to a cafe for lunch one day. By the end of the trip, the boys were begging to go for another ride as Jason loaded up the Talon into the trailer.

When there’s a pile in the garage that looks like this, it means fun is coming this weekend! Any guesses where we’re taking the boys?
Edit-we are up in Old Station this weekend to visit Grammy and Papa, aunt and uncle, and to ride some quads!

Quad rides, building blocks, driving racing games, water balloons, and finally resting. Sometimes, activities are best done with your brother ❤️
We are so sorry we have been so bad at uploading the last several months. We created this short 8:00 min video to catch everyone up on our lives over the last several months.
The boys have been growing so much in every way the last several months. With each passing day, they seem to learn something new and slowly turn into little people not just little babies.
The struggle is real. I think the hardest part is trying to just sit back and enjoy watching them grow and not wish the hard times were behind us.
Hope you enjoy this video and can share in the exciting times with us.
If you do enjoy these videos and want more of them, please be vocal and let us know! Without comments or likes or shares, we have no idea if they are just trash that no one wants on their news feed or if they are enjoyed as much as we enjoy them.
Thank you again and enjoy!!!

Enjoyable Memorial Day weekend spent in the mountains!
**we’ve been attempting to post a video for close to a week now. For some reason, it will only post to YouTube, not Facebook.

Conversations between these two are starting to become more normal. This morning after breakfast, the boys closed themselves in the pantry together. They had the cutest conversation.
Dyson: “is this glass?”
Logan: “yeah.”
Dyson: “oh ok” “that one?”
Logan: “no”
Dyson: “oh man.”
Logan: “Momma will be sad. It’s breakable.”
Then they both laugh and do it all over again.
