Hooray! It's the first day of Summer! We hope you will enjoy all the summer festivities that bring warm days, ice-cold drinks, BBQs, swimming, and time with friends and family! However, please remember that summer comes with tons of pressures and expectations such as social pressures, wanting to look 'summer ready', changes in schedules and child care, and this HEAT!

Are you familiar with Juneteenth?

June 19th, 1865 is the date that African Americans in Texas found out that they were no longer enslaved! This was more than 2 years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed by President Lincoln, making them the last enslaved persons to be "freed." Juneteenth is a celebration of their emancipation!
By 2019, 47 States and the District of Columbia recognized Juneteenth as a holiday. We hope you will take a moment today to recognize the importance of this day in our history and celebrate the freedoms that were deserved.

A Father is a friend to talk to in the good times and the bad, someone who accepts you despite your differences, is thankful for their family, gives you advice, arrives with endless DAD JOKES, and someone you know you can always count on. Thank you Fathers! We hope you enjoy your day!

PACC would like to give a big huge THANK YOU to all of the community members and organizations that have been donating to our supply of family games! Just a reminder, Family Game Night is this Friday from 5-7pm. Please come down to 1352 Oregon Street and enjoy some snacks and pick a game to play with your family. We hope that everyone in attendance will be able to take a game home but that really depends on how long supplies last 😊 Cant wait to see you here!
