During National Police Week, we honor the courage, service, and sacrifice of Americaβs law enforcement professionals.
In 1962, President John F. Kennedy proclaimed May 15 as National Peace Officers Memorial Day and designated the week in which it falls as National Police Week. Established by a joint resolution of Congress, this week serves as a time to remember and recognize the law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty while protecting and serving their communities.
SHIELD Regional Training proudly honors those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to others. We remember their dedication, courage, and unwavering commitment to public safety.
