Absolutely stunning, heirloom-quality media console – exceeded all expectations

Working with David was one of the best experiences I’ve had on Etsy. Over the course of more than a year, David patiently collaborated with me to design this incredible piece of furniture—a media console with a traditional projection front to match a specific space in our home.

David was wonderful to work with throughout the process. He offered expert guidance, provided detailed renderings, and even shared his staining process so I could experiment with custom blends. Once I found the right tone, I shared the recipe with him—and he nailed it. The final finish is exactly what I had envisioned, and the console looks like it was built for this room (because it was).

Beyond the design collaboration, the build quality is absolutely top-tier. As someone who pays close attention to craftsmanship, I can say this piece is superbly constructed—dovetail joints, smooth drawer action, tight grain match, and thoughtful design details throughout. Even up close, the workmanship is impeccable. It’s rare to find this level of care and skill in a custom piece.

Shipping was also handled with great care, and the piece arrived in perfect condition. From start to finish, I felt like I was working with a true professional and a genuinely gifted woodworker.
