It's been an exciting stretch for several members of the Red Hook Golf Club family as they continue to compete at a high level.

🏌️‍♂️ Mathew Simmons will be competing in the NYSPHSAA State Championship this weekend after advancing through Sectional competition.

🏌️‍♂️ Ike Rothman recently qualified for the New York State Open as medalist and will tee it up against some of the state's best players later this summer.

🏌️‍♀️ Ina Kim-Schaad is competing this week in the U.S. Women's Open at Riviera Country Club, one of the most prestigious championships in the game.

We're proud to see players from our club and local golf community pursuing their goals and representing themselves at the highest levels of competition.

Best of luck to our golf professionals and local high school students competing this week.

Chris and Landon will be teeing it up in the NENY PGA Stroke Play Championship at Saratoga National, while several local high school boys players begin Sectional competition tomorrow at West Point. The girls will start their Sectional Championship on Tuesday, at Apple Greens.

Bandon Dunes tested every part of the game this week. It wasn’t the week I was hoping for and an early triple on my 7th hole of the tournament put me behind the eight ball right away. But I’m proud of the way I stayed in it, battled back and worked my way to inside the cut line heading into the finish.

Unfortunately, one too many mistakes along the way left me one shot and five spots outside the number. That’s a tough one to swallow, but that’s tournament golf. Plenty to learn from and plenty to build on.

Excited about where my game is at and looking forward to a great season ahead representing the Red Hook Golf Club. Thank you to everyone who followed along and supported me this week.
