We would like to thank Hannah Mackey for serving as a Tehama County Beef Ambassador for the last 2 years and representing Tehama County Cattlemen's Association and Tehama County Cattlewomen. Hannah will be graduating this June from Red Bluff High School and 2 weeks after graduation she will be leaving for basic training in the US Army.

Also Tehama County Cattlemen's recently awarded Hannay with the Tehama County Producers Award at the Tehama Dist. Fair.
To be eligible for this award, the recipient must have purchased her animal from a Tehama County Cattlemen Producer.

Here are the comments from the selection committee:

"Her steer and stalls were well presented. She was very knowledgeable about her project and the beef industry and helpful to other exhibitors. During her interview, Hannah was professional and confident. She displayed an overall good citizenship quality. Tehama County Cattlemen were very impressed with this young lady and are thankful and proud of the fact that she is enlisting in the US Army to be a combat medic"

Not Pictures - Bam Merkley --Tehama County Cattlemen's and Cattlewomen would also like to thank Bam Merkley for his service as Beef Ambassador as well. Bam has helped educate our community about the cattle industry and helped out at numerous community events.

Both received $1000 scholarships from Tehama County Cattlewomen
