Kassy is a young Pomeranian with a huge heart and so much love to give. She is wonderful with kids, friendly with other dogs, and even does great with cats — truly the total package!

This little girl truly is a mystery. Kassy came to our rescue with nystagmus, but after thorough veterinary exams and several months in a loving foster home, she has proven to be a happy, healthy, and perfectly normal baby girl. Her sweet personality and playful spirit truly shine every day.

Because of her nystagmus, she does have some vision challenges and seems to see only a little bit, but it doesn’t slow her down. She navigates her surroundings confidently on her own and gets around just fine without needing constant supervision. She’s an excellent listener and, once she bonds with her person, she rarely leaves their side — your loyal little companion for life. 💖🐾

Kassy is ready to find the forever family who will cherish her unconditionally.
She has been vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and is current on heartworm/flea prevention. Her adoption is $300

***ADOPTED***We just picked this cutie up from the shelter where he was surrendered by his owners who couldn’t care for him. We’re still getting to know Connor but so far he’s outgoing, confident and friendly. He is really enjoying meeting the other big dogs in his foster home. Connor is just over a year old, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and scheduled to be neutered. Adoption fee $300 to help cover his medical costs.

Meet Hashbrown, a bulldog who has survived far more than any dog ever should.

She came into rescue as a stray, desperately sick with a pyometra — a life-threatening infection of her uterus. Her body also tells the story of her past: multiple C-section scars, clear signs she'd been bred over and over... and then discarded when she was no longer "useful."

But here's the part that matters most: Hashbrown is still full of love. Now that she's been treated and is finally safe, her sweet personality is shining through. She's gentle, affectionate, and so grateful for every bit of kindness she receives. Hashbrown is ready for a future that looks nothing like her past - one where she's cherished as a family member, not used as a machine.

Hashbrown isn’t quite ready for adoption yet as she still needs one more surgery to remove a mammary tumor. We greatly appreciate any one who would like to donate to Hashbrown’s medical care.

Cute little ‘VIVI’ is looking for a permanent lap to lay on. This 6 pound spitfire is about a year old and ready to give you all the warm kisses you could want. She looks to be a LH Chi/Papillon mix. She is available through Tehama County Animal Care Center. She is hanging at one of our foster homes learning the ropes. Is your lap the one she is striving for🐶

We think Roz deserves the most improved award from her weekly training class. She’s working on the big five (sit, down, stay, heel and come) commands and has made amazing strides in the past few weeks. We’re proud of resilience gal that has come so far in her foster home. 🤓
