One component from our latest Gambrinus dinner is making its way onto the dessert menu this weekend: dark malted barley ice cream, paired with cornbread, peanut butterscotch, and bourbon soaked cherries.

Festbier
German-Style Oktoberfest
5.9%

A traditional interpretation of the modern German Festbier style, this Oktoberfest is pale in color with a clean, focused malt character. Soft bready notes lead the profile, balanced by moderate hop bitterness and a crisp, dry finish. Lighter and more restrained than the darker, malt-forward Märzen style, it reflects the paler interpretation of Oktoberfest traditionally associated with the festival in Munich.

A Rhineland-made stein feels right at home when Oktoberfest season rolls around. These salt-glazed stoneware steins come from Schilz Keramik in Höhr-Grenzhausen, where the Schilz family has been hand-crafting stoneware since 1661. This season, they’re available online and at both Triumph locations.
