Influential Encounters

Last week, we had the honor of hosting Kayla Lujan for our Ambassador Session, and her impact was instant.

She challenged us to rethink how we use our time, reminding us that boundaries, bold asks, and protecting what matters most are how we lead ourselves first, so we can lift others. Influence rooted in character starts there.

That’s the heart of our Ambassador Program: intentional meetings, real growth, and women learning to lead with confidence.

We’re still glowing from our June 23rd evening in Cincinnati: a room full of strong, accomplished women, sharing their stories, their challenges, and their notes to their 25-year-old selves.

Today our hearts are full of gratitude as we prepare to open the doors for tonight’s Women’s Event entitled, The Future is Bright.

Our mission is the same as the day we started: to build rooms where women in male-majority industries meet face to face, inspire one another, and influence their workplaces, communities, industries, and homes for the better. Tonight that room holds multiple generations, the women just stepping into these industries and the women who have walked them for decades, with wisdom and excitement rising to the surface.

A night like this only happens because partners step in and choose to invest in it.

Meet our extraordinary moderator for our June 23 event: Wally BE 💛🚜🖤

Wally just stepped into a new role as Event Marketing Consultant at VisionLink by Caterpillar and she’s arriving with nearly two decades of experience overseeing the strategy, marketing, and on-the-ground ex*****on behind some of the largest tradeshows and gatherings across construction, agriculture, landscape, and snow and ice. Creativity and warmth are just how she operates.

That same heart and determination carries into every area of her life as the founder of Curvy Honeybees - a nonprofit built to nurture confidence in curvy and plus-size teenage girls.

Wally believes in a “Reach back and pull up” approach to friendships and community, making her the perfect guide for our panel.

Kayla began her career in snow & ice six years ago, starting on the ground as a crew member with a shovel in hand. Today she serves as Area Manager for the US Division of Strathmore out of Montreal.

On our June 23 panel, she’ll share what drew her in, the challenges she’s navigating as a young leader, and her hopes for where snow & ice is headed.
