Memorial Day weekend means celebrating freedoms that exist because someone died protecting them.

It means lakes and laughter and family gatherings are only possible because there were people willing to lay their lives down for a country they believed in.

It’s not just a long weekend.
It’s remembrance.

It’s folded flags in grieving hands.
Empty seats at tables.
Parents who never got their child back.
Children who only know a parent through stories.

So yes… celebrate.
Gather. Rest. Enjoy your family.
