Makooch band from the '70's reunited. Makooch was a popular band in the Berks County and extended area from 1973 through 1981.
Their participation in the Berks County History Center - Magical History Tour Concert in August 2014 gave them the inspiration needed to bring the band back to life. The band consists of original members who had continued with their music in various bands and ventures these many years since Makooch originally disbanded. The weather now looks good for tomorrow afternoons Battle of the Bands at the RPhils stadium from 1-4pm, Saturday, 10/21. There is also beer tasting and some other things going on that afternoon. It is a cool event.
Why are we posting this? Because MAKOOCH has the honor of performing as the House Band during the Battle. We play in between the competing bands. Lots of fun and we have done it before.

Fleetwood, Pa 19522 on Saturday, October 14. If you have never been to this club, you should not miss it.
Time is 7 to 10pm.

MAKOOCH will be at the Reading Sokols Club on Saturday June 10 from 1pm to 4 pm. This is their 3rd annual chicken BBQ outdoors which is open to the public from 12 to 5pm.
The club is at 411 Crestmont Street, Reading (Millmont area).
