Reliable energy storage starts with dependable access to critical materials.

Battery Council International’s new U.S. Recycling Rate Study highlights the strength of the North American lead battery recycling network, including more than 300,000 spent-battery collection sites, 15 recycling facilities across North America, 60 manufacturing facilities and 62 material and component suppliers.

This system helps keep essential battery materials circulating within the supply chain and supports the manufacturers that serve critical industries. For customers that depend on uptime, that kind of resource efficiency helps strengthen reliability, resilience and national security.
