Autumn of 2025 saw the return of the Norfolk & Western 611 to the Virginia Scenic Railway for the first time in two years. Part 2 of 2 in our collection of photos from our journey out west. This covers 3 days of steam operations on the Cumbres & Toltec, in peak foliage. We had toe opportunity to shoot all 3 currently operable engines at the time.

Here is a collection of photos from our journey out west, featuring the beautiful mountain vistas of the Colorado Rockies, as seen from the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. We had the pleasure to capture all four operable locomotives at the time, K-28 476, K-36s 480 & 482, and K-37 493.
