I love using color, depth, and a little surrealism to tell stories.

I've not been doing much new lately but turning a few things into new merch is never a bad idea.

While in Plymouth Twp, we stopped by for a quick pick with another statue I painted last year for Hickory Veterinary and Specialty Hospital. This was my first statue I painted and I collaborated on the design with my son, Brandon Reimer ... both of us were big fans of Beast Wars, back in the 90s.

During the last year, most of my "art time" has gone to two huge, special projects. One is officially complete with Elmwood Park Zoo today with the dedication of the statue I painted for Plymouth Township Parks & Recreation - Greater Plymouth Community Center. This is the third statue I painted for the park's 100th Anniversary celebration.

Today was great fun and an honor to be part of their 25th Anniversary celebration today at GPCC! They have a great facility and wonderful support from the community and local & state government.

Thanks for including me and my wife Wendy Cirullo as part of your special day! Stop by and check it out.

I've not posted much lately, but I have been busy! Last fall, I agreed to do a 3rd statue for Plymouth Twp, one of the sponsors of Elmwood Park Zoo's 100th Anniversary celebration. Between vacation, work, and an aggravated back, it took a bit to complete it. It reflects their Quaker roots, highlights some landmarks, 4 historic areas as paintings, and hints at some of the big corporate entities integral to the township.

It will be mounted and installed by the zoo in the coming weeks. I hope you like it!
