A reminder it is tax season, and the scams are rampant, including the continuing scam involving a phone call from a person claiming to be from the IRS and threatening the person called if they do not send money. Bridgewater was hit with these calls recently, and Raynham's turn came soon after, as we learned from the Raynham Police and from seniors who told us they had received the calls. Be prepared for the calls to continue as tax season continues.
We have a survey that is coming out in the next few days. The survey is eight questions, and has space for further comments. We hope people choose to read it and perhaps fill it out, in part or in total.

Happy (belated) birthday to Theodor Seuss Geisel. Many of us will be reading at the schools to celebrate his work.
We may have a little snow on Friday. Remember to check on the weather at the NOAA site, which is mobile friendly. The weather station is located in Taunton, where it has been for years, and the data is updated regularly. There are also many maps and charts for all the people who are really into monitoring weather, many of us.
This is our resident killdeer, who laid eggs last year and spent most of the spring with her family in the fields next to the senior center. We think she'll be back, because I can hear killdeer now.
