We had an excellent turnout for the 4th Annual Cherry Blossom Jam yesterday! Old and new faces alike fought the crazy blossom peeper traffic on the loop road to shred some lines in the concert grove 🤘
Thanks for coming out everyone!!! Great start to the season.

We had this Feather Pro at a pretty high standing tension to clear a bump in the field. This was a super fun line with the downhill angle and steep dropoff at the static side.
Greg slays his way down the line!

Slackline NJ OG and master forager .cutler "Mountain Man Pete" walking a Feather Pro longline next to a pole garden back in 2016. Peter now lives in New Mexico and it was great to see him recently when he stopped by to catch up while visiting town!

An early Spacenet Slack Jam at Lewis Morris Park back in 2018. This was version 1.0 of the Slackline NJ Spacenet, build with equilateral 10ft spanset sides and 1 inch flat polyester webbing for the weave. The Type 18 webbing we're walking here means we must have tensioned this park line quite a lot!

Throwback to winter of 2021--NJ's own freestyle crusher and CT's high flying, guitar strumming, amsteel splicing maven approach the I80 highlines via the Class Four ramp at Mt Tammany, probably for the first time.
Both of these boys have since moved on to Colorado and train nearly every day to stay at the forefront of freestyle highlining development in the US--check out their pages for some unbelievable tricks!!!

First SlackThurs jam of 2024 is in the books!
We had a net, 3 lines, a wonderful crew...and even a unicycle! None of use knew how to do anything with the unicycle, when a mountain biker passing by picked it up, rode it around a bit, and proceeded to give us all a crash course on getting started! This park is fun to rig because it is always busy with hikers and bikers in the lot, but nobody but us tends to hang around in the ballfield area with the good slack trees.
The kevlar webbing was a bit short for the net line gap, so we ended up extending the static anchor with around 40ft of spansets! 😆
