Benchmarks
Benchmarks is an alliance of agencies committed to leadership, quality and accountability.
Benchmarks is a non-profit association of provider agencies advocating for quality and accountability among human service providers so that North Carolina’s children, adults and families can realize their full potential, contribute to their communities and live healthy lives. Who We Are: Quality Agencies Delivering Results

Partnerships like these help make Destination 2026 possible.
Benchmarks is honored to recognize and thank Healthy Blue Care Together for their generous support as our Signature Series Sponsor. Through their sponsorship of our conference breaks, Healthy Blue Care Together is helping create the moments that bring people together, moments to connect, collaborate, exchange ideas, and build relationships that strengthen the future of care across North Carolina.
While the sessions and speakers inspire learning, it is often during these shared moments of conversation and connection that meaningful partnerships are formed and innovative solutions begin to take shape.
We are deeply grateful for Healthy Blue Care Together's commitment to advancing the health and well-being of North Carolina's children, adults, and families. Their partnership helps create an exceptional Destination 2026 experience for every attendee.

Men are significantly less likely than women to seek mental health treatment, despite experiencing conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders. Research shows that stigma, societal expectations, and limited conversations around emotional well-being often prevent men from accessing support when they need it most. Promoting open dialogue and increasing awareness are critical steps toward reducing stigma and encouraging early intervention.
Benchmarks supports behavioral health initiatives and provider networks that help individuals and families access compassionate, community-based care across North Carolina. Supporting men’s mental health strengthens families, workplaces, and communities alike.

Approximately 6% of U.S. adults will experience PTSD at some point in their lives, and many individuals impacted by trauma remain underserved or unidentified. Trauma-informed approaches help organizations recognize the widespread impact of trauma, respond with compassion, and create safer, more supportive systems of care.
Through advocacy, training, and collaboration with provider agencies across North Carolina, Benchmarks supports strategies that promote healing, resilience, and long-term well-being for children, families, and communities. Building trauma-informed systems is essential to improving outcomes and strengthening care across behavioral health and human services sectors.
