Good news from the solar front! Rooftop solar is alive and well in North Carolina, even after the loss of federal tax credits. Leasing options and battery incentives are helping homeowners go solar with little to no money down.

Our own Graham Alexander got to share his take on why pairing solar with batteries is such a win for homeowners and the grid alike. "The average battery that we're installing is an additional 50 bucks a month," he told Canary Media. "You, as a homeowner, get the money. The utility benefits because they get more load stability with being able to deploy those batteries."

Catawba College was the first college in the Southeast to achieve full carbon neutrality, here's a snapshot of how our team supports that goal.

Jackie and Lee recently wrapped up another inspection at Catawba as we help this building earn ENERGY STAR certification. Projects like these do more than reduce energy use. They create healthier, more comfortable places for students to live and learn while lowering the campus's environmental impact.
