It's Men's Health Month — and there's real reason for hope.
Lung cancer death rates in men have been declining for decades, and annual low-dose CT screening can reduce mortality by another 20% in high risk individuals. 1 in 16 men will face a lung cancer diagnosis in their lifetime. Knowing your risk is the first step.
Download our free risk assessment to find out if you qualify for a lung screening — then talk to your healthcare provider about next steps.

Today on Clinical Trials Day, we recognize the patients, researchers, and healthcare teams who are helping advance the future of lung cancer treatment.
Clinical trials play a critical role in improving prevention, detection, and treatment options—and today’s standard treatments exist because patients chose to participate in research studies.
To help patients and families take the next step, our website also includes a clinical trial search tool to explore available studies.
If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with lung cancer, talk with your care team about whether a clinical trial may be right for you.

Last Thursday, we gathered at the Washington Duke Inn and Golf Club for an evening of education, connection, and hope at our Understanding Your Lung Cancer Diagnosis community event. Attendees heard the latest updates in small cell and non-small cell lung cancer, an inspiring survivor story from Joy Henderson, and took part in an engaging and informative Q&A panel discussion.
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible speakers from Duke Cancer Institute — Drs. Alder, Ready, and Bevers — for sharing their expertise and compassion, and to Joy for courageously sharing her journey and reminding us all of the power of hope and resilience.
We are grateful to everyone who joined us for this meaningful evening of learning and support. If you missed it, replays of the talks will be available on our YouTube channel soon. Together, we continue moving forward with knowledge, community, and hope.
