Changes coming to the schedule this July.

We’re consolidating our Tuesday and Thursday 6:10 PM and 7:20 PM classes into one convenient time slot.

We’re testing this out as a trial run to see how the team likes the flow before making it official. Here is the new setup:

TUESDAY & THURSDAY | 6:20 PM • Combined All-Levels Adults + Teens (13–15) • 6:20–7:05 PM Technique, followed by Sparring • Attire: GI (We may alternate Gi/No-Gi down the road, but we're starting in the Gi).

WEDNESDAY | 7:20 PM • The 7:20 PM slot is shifting to a dedicated NO-GI class right after Muay Thai.

This will take effect July 1st. As always students are welcome and encouraged to get no gi rounds during sparring after any Gi class.

5-1 with 4 finishes proud of the team and everyone who helped get us ready!

2-0 🥇mozingo 3-1 🥈and a 🟣

The big improvement doesn’t come from those moments in competition. It comes from the preparation before, and the reflection after.

For 14 years, we’ve worked hard to build more than just a gym. We’ve built a community full of people who push each other, support each other, and show up day after day trying to get a little better.

Our 6AM crew is a perfect example of that. Early mornings, hard rounds, good attitudes, and teammates who genuinely want to help each other grow.

Whether your goal is self defense, competition, fitness, confidence, or just finding something challenging and positive before work, there’s a place for you here.

High level instruction.
Welcoming community.
No ego.
Just people putting in the work together.

Come see why people have trusted Gracie Raleigh for over 14 years. Your first class is on us. 🥋🔥

Homework with a smile?! 😄

One of the coolest things about teaching kids is watching their excitement carry off the mats and into their everyday lives. We’ve been working on activity sheets at home, coloring techniques, reviewing positions, and having a blast doing it.

When kids love Jiu Jitsu, it stops feeling like “homework” and starts feeling like something they’re proud of. They want to learn more, practice more, and share it with everyone around them.

Confidence grows when learning is connected to fun, encouragement, and curiosity. Proud of these kids for bringing that energy every single day. 💙🥋

What if the best part of your day was the hardest part?

The part where you show up tired.
The part where you sweat, struggle, and push yourself past what felt comfortable.
The part where quitting would’ve been easier.

And somehow, when it’s over, you don’t feel drained.
You feel clearer. Stronger. Rejuvenated.

Because there’s something powerful about doing hard things on purpose. About earning your confidence instead of waiting for it.

That’s what the mats give us. A place to challenge ourselves, reset our minds, and leave better than we arrived.

Some battles don’t look like battles from the outside.

For some of us, the hardest part isn’t the grind, the pressure, or the hard work. We’re used to overcoming those things. The difficult part is the stillness. Feeling disconnected. Feeling like you’re fighting alone.

That’s why we’re proud to be more than a gym.

At Gracie Raleigh you’ll find a place to move, learn, laugh, struggle, grow, and keep showing up alongside people who genuinely want to see you win.

Jiu-Jitsu gives us an outlet. A challenge. A reset button.
A place to stay active. Stay connected to a brotherhood. And stay in the fight no matter what life throws at us.

You don’t have to do it alone.

Before the world starts pulling you in a hundred different directions, give yourself one hour that’s yours.

An hour to move.
An hour to learn.
An hour to breathe.
An hour to become a little stronger than yesterday.

There’s something special about the quiet of the morning mats. No noise. No distractions. Just effort, focus, and a room full of people choosing growth before the sun’s fully up.

You start your day present.
You leave more resilient.
More confident.
More ready to take on whatever’s in front of you.

6 AM training isn’t just about fitness or jiu jitsu.
It’s a promise to yourself that you matter too.
