***UPGRADE*** It’s been a big week for us here at PMF! We recently said goodbye to our 1990’s model Pulsar CO2 laser and this week are welcoming a brand new Ensis 3015 3kW Fiber Laser in its place!
This new laser will allow us to increase our throughput while reducing our energy consumption. Win-win!

Today is a landmark day for us here at PMF. Forty years ago we hired a wisecracking kid out of high school to join our team. Little did we know that all these years later he’d be such a central member of our work family.

Woody Smith has moved from production, to shipping manager, to production manager, and now customer service. If you’ve ever been a customer or employee of ours, you've likely had dealings with Woody (and we’re sorry). 😉

Woody has spent a lifetime as one of the most influential members of our team. His importance isn’t just measured in his ability to do his job, it’s also in his connection with the people around him. Woody is loved and trusted by most people on the production team (past and present) all the way up through management. He’s quick with a joke (again…we’re sorry) and enjoys connecting with people. It’s this ability that makes him part of the “glue” that holds our team together.

So, a huge THANK YOU to Woody Smith, for 40 years of loyalty and friendship!
