The Twins Have Arrived! 🌚🌝
Britt and Steven welcomed Lyons and Blue on St Patty’s day, both weighing over 7lbs, healthy, feisty and able to come home within 72 hours. Samson loves her little shamrocks and we think Sammy & The Twins will make a sweet band name someday. Thanks for all the well wishes through an intense pregnancy and now the ol’ two-newborns-and-a-toddler-season 😅 we are tired, happy and grateful.
Oh how I’ve waited, oh how I’ve dreamt of this…. ✨🦁🌊✨
We are sending love and solidarity to our brothers and sisters in Minneapolis, doing God’s work protecting our democracy and its most vulnerable against a creeping fascism that appears to be hitting a tipping point. We love the Twin Cities and are devastated by the senseless chaos and death being visited on them by our federal government.
And I am sending this message to my classmate at Duke.

Dear Delta Rae Family,
The 2025 Revival was beyond our wildest dreams.
You traveled into Raleigh from all over the country.
You filled the room with so much love.
The band got to be together after years off the road.
Our kids all got to meet for the first time.
We got to play our songs for all of you again.
We have never had a bigger VIP.
We have never sold more tickets to a show.
We can’t thank you enough.
On top of all of that you helped us raise $7,580 for Western North Carolina!
The day of the show we calculated the total was $6,975, but then you continued to give at our merch table an additional $605! You all are incredible. We are sending a check to our friends at Mountain True ( ) who will continue the hard work of restoring Western NC after the devastating Hurricane Helene.
The Revival was a show to bring us all back to life. It worked. We feel revived and so grateful to end the year with this shared memory of big love, joy and magic. Please leave a comment if you think we should do it again!

A note from the songwriter: The lyrics of Dream On Wandering Child are about nurturing the part of you that remains curious and innocent your whole life. For me, it’s a song inviting my deepest fears into the room and soothing them. It’s about searching a beautiful world and the unlimited and unexpected adventures that might arise. In some ways, it’s a coming of age story — feeling like you don’t belong, leaving home but feeling the call of something familiar, and ultimately having to cull all the messages you get from the world and your own intuition into finding meaning and living the best life you can. Dream on, wandering child.
