All right, friends! It’s alive! Well, the Kickstarter is anyway! The link is in my bio! This is gonna be such a fabulous anthology. I’m excited to read it myself! Also, I think my story might be one of the best things I’ve ever written!

Let’s talk about space! It’s real big, guys! Also, this surprises a lot of people, I am the huge science fiction fan! Most of my favorite books from childhood were science fiction, but my poor grasp of any science beyond geology makes me unfit to write it! So here are some recent space adjacent pictures that make me happy!

The books I read on vacation, which sounds like the title of an Emily Henry book! Two of them are modeled by Baby Figment, purchased on our first night!

So fun to get back to the world of Magnus Chase, even if Magnus wasn’t there! And allow me to boast about my virtual run through the fjords! I’ve gotten hooked on Conqueror Challenges, and I’m currently walking the Ring Road in Iceland!

Some very lovely books that I have read recently!

Here is my new friend Hove to help me show off some books I’ve read lately! (Hove is the knitted dragon, he comes from the Royal Pavilion in Brighton & Hove.) These books were all excellent! Two thumbs and all our claws way up!

In Provo for life, the universe, and everything, talking to a friend and I turn around when my youngest child puts his arm around me and gives me a hug! He and my husband had driven down because I forgot my pillow, and they know how much I love my pillow! So they drove all the way to Provo, dropped off my pillow, and then drove home/ because that’s real love!

Another What I’m Reading/What I’ve Read dump! All good books! But don’t take my word for it!

Everything has seemed too horrible lately, and I haven’t wanted to post. But you know what? Screw it! Books are great! We need more books! Here’s some that I’ve loved lately!

Hi. In case you didn’t know, I’m a a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, or Mormon. (I’m also a big fan of the Moomins.) As such, I was taught my whole life to believe that murder is bad, lying is bad, and harming children in any way is literally the worst thing you can do. I was taught that worshipping a false idol, whether it be an actual golden statue or money or a politician, was a grave sin. I was taught phrases like “unrighteous dominion” (which condemns men who use their power to oppress), and shown pictures of kings draped in gold and furs as an example of wickedness. I was taught that in all things we should be like Christ: to treat others with dignity, and compassion. To seek only to do good, to uplift, to feed and clothe and shelter those in need. To mourn with those who mourn. And sometimes, when you see someone violating the sacred, you flip the tables over and get your whip.

In case you missed it… no, actually just brace yourselves because I’m not going to be shutting up about this for like, a year… HOLIDAYS AT THE CASTLE! Coming to you in September 2026!
