Lots of exciting progress being made!
We just had this awesome door put in, and our “Behind the Scenes” classroom is taking shape as the walls go up🤩
We can’t wait to see how it all comes together for the new school year!📚

Teen Service Day is tomorrow!!⭐️
Come serve, bring a friend and enjoy some pizza🍕
We’d love to see you there!

A mother just told us told us her teenage son said this: "I am so excited to go back to school. I can't believe I'm saying that."

yep, that can happen here.

What should a 17-year-old be able to DO?

That's a question we think about a lot.

Not just:
What courses have they completed?
But can they take initiative?
Communicate with adults?
Manage a project?
Meet a deadline?
Solve a problem?
Learn something they weren't explicitly taught? Discover opportunities and pursue them?

We want teens leaving iCreate with more than credits on a transcript. (Although they can have that too.)

We want them to have evidence that they're capable.

Your teen has interests that don't fit neatly into a school subject. Good.

Maybe they want to start a business. Build something in the makerspace. Create a film. Design a game. Write a book. Learn a trade. Organize an event.

Our teens have opportunities to choose and develop their own projects, with mentors helping them turn an idea into something real.

Because sometimes the best learning starts with:
“What do YOU want to create?”

We’re not trying to create "really good students."

We’re trying to help young people become capable humans.
Young adults who can think. Create. Communicate. Lead. Take responsibility. Solve problems. And figure out what to do when someone hasn’t handed them step-by-step instructions.

That’s the heart of iCreate’s Teen Leadership Program.
