Rubio - Digital Content Producer
I'm a digital content producer who helps business owners brands by creating ads, content, and marketing funnels. Owner of @swiftpeakproductions
My name is Danny Rubio, but I go by Rubio. I am a digital content producer specializing in content marketing. I create advertisements, social media content, content strategies, marketing funnels, and websites.
Not just behind the camera, but in the conversation. 🎙️ As a fractional creative director, the goal is always to make the production feel as natural as possible while keeping the overarching vision on track.
Stop wasting time opening Photoshop, Canva, or third-party websites just to isolate an image! In this quick Mac tutorial, I’m showing you a native, built-in macOS feature that lets you remove the background from any photo instantly right from your Finder window.
Whether you're a content creator, designer, or working in corporate, this quick trick will completely streamline your workflow and save you valuable time.
How to do it:
Open Finder and locate your image.
Right-click on the file.
Hover over Quick Actions and select Remove Background.
Boom—your isolated PNG is ready to go!
If you forgot about this feature or didn't know it existed, hit that like button and subscribe for more quick tech and workflow tips!
The ultimate creator's trap: wanting to just make a quick video, but the second you pull out the main cameras, you overthink it and feel like it has to be a massive production. Even with over a decade of experience in video production, I still get in my own head about this.
My solution? Buy a new camera. 😂
I've been wanting something easy, small, and compact that isn't just an action cam for unique shots. This little Osmo setup is versatile, shoots 10-bit, docks easily, and most importantly—it removes the pressure of needing to make something "bigger." First-world problems, I know, but whatever gets you creating, right?
Also, check out the newly finished studio rebuild! The desk and gear areas are finally reorganized, and a huge shoutout to Josh for the sick Monster mini-fridge. The space is dialed in, and we're ready to roll. 🎬🔥
Taking you behind the scenes of a recent shoot at ! 🎥 A lot goes into capturing videos for clients. Planning, Scheduling, shoot day, helping on-camera talent feel comfortable. Whatever it may be. It's always rewarding to see all the moving parts come together to help a great brand tell its story. 🎬✨
"Gear doesn't matter" is a cliché, but it's a cliché for a reason. 🎥 The barrier to entry for video content has never been lower. You don't need to spend thousands to get started anymore. Seeing how accessible high-quality cameras have become is amazing, especially after having over a decade of experience in video production. Creating content—whether for others or yourself—is one of the most powerful ways to change your trajectory. Stop overthinking the gear and start hitting record. 🚀
Final Cut Pro just updated to 12.3, and it finally includes the feature we've all been waiting for: native auto-captions! Three years ago, I switched to DaVinci Resolve because it offered the robust collaboration and captioning tools that modern client work demands. When you have over a decade of video production experience, relying on clunky, third-party workarounds that don't feel native to the Apple ecosystem just slows down your workflow.
In this tutorial, I'll show you exactly how to generate, edit, and fully customize subtitles natively in FCP 12.3. You'll learn how to adjust the safe areas for vertical video and even swap the default text with your own custom title packs to match your brand perfectly.
If you haven't used Final Cut in a while, this is the update that might just bring you back to the platform.
Communication will make or break your projects. 🗣️
We just wrapped up on location, and it sparked a great conversation in the truck. Sometimes clients will tell you they are ready for you to step in and do your thing, but when you get there, the groundwork isn't actually finished.
Instead of getting frustrated, use it as a teaching moment. Educate them on your workflow. Define exactly what needs to happen before you can do your best work. When you align your definitions of "ready," the whole process becomes frictionless.
Closing: Beautiful day, beautiful property in Park City, and another great lesson in the books. On to the next one! 🎬✨
Sun is out and the neighborhood is looking perfect. ☀️ Take a quick break, enjoy the view, and then get out and get it today! What are you tackling this week? 👇

Some days the work just doesn’t flow.
Some days you’re battling the season, your mood, or just the simple fact that being human is… a lot.
Early in my career in news, I learned a lesson I still lean on:
You won’t always get to tell the story you want to tell.
But you still tell it. You show up. You do the job.
And strangely, those reps make you stronger, even when the task isn’t glamorous or inspiring.
You can dislike the thing and still do the thing.
That’s real discipline. That’s real creativity.
Curious—what’s something you regularly do that you still hate doing?
(For me: laundry. Forever laundry.)
You don't always win I’m a Latino dad, storyteller, and digital creator based in Utah—trying to balance 🎥, familia 👨👩👧👧, creativity, and a lifelong hunt for the perfect 🌮. Around here, I share the little chispas that keep me going: creator tips, behind-the-scenes from my projects, lessons ...
