The Steel Yard in Providence, RI, hosted a "Foodie Showcase" today, featuring the handmade foodie goods produced by the SY's teachers and resident artists. Ceramics was well represented but I snuck in with a few sets of hand-forged chopsticks.

Part 2. Welding on and center-punching the suckers on the actual prototype went pretty well. I also ground the square corners of the chopsticks' reins so it indexes in the hand comfortably.
Next step... Add an organic bend or two at the end so that they don't look like te****les that are "very happy" to see you.
Last night I tested putting teeny tiny te****le suckers on 5/16 round stock. The goal being a prototype set of te****le ended chopsticks. This went pretty well. So, on to the next step.
