I can’t remember the last time I shared a recording on social media. I avoid sharing what I am working on because it never feels “good enough” EVEN THOUGH that is the opposite of my teaching philosophy-👏🏼everyone has something to offer 👏🏼.
2020 has been the most challenging year for my teaching and practicing to date. This piece represents a years worth of practicing. A very messy years worth of work, much less than I had hoped for but I’ve decided that’s ok. Choosing this piece a few weeks ago, practicing daily, recording a final performance and then sharing it is all the performing I needed to do in 2020.
